This policy explains the standard of evidence behind every statement on Worst Casino Reviews, how we correct mistakes, how operators can reply, and how the site earns money.
Evidence standard
Any statement about a named operator rests on a primary record: the operator’s own website or terms, a licence register, a regulator’s list or decision, or a dated check we can repeat. We link the source on the page. Where a fact could not be verified, we leave it out rather than guess. Statuses are described in neutral terms set out in our method.
What we will not write
- We do not call a named operator a scam, a fraud or a criminal unless a regulator or court has done so; in that case we quote it and link the decision.
- We do not invent experiences, tests, people or credentials.
- We do not publish personal details of players or staff.
- We do not print live prices, exchange rates or odds that change by the minute.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Send the page, the statement and your evidence to [email protected]. We aim to review within five working days. Corrections that change a status are recorded with the date in the status log; small fixes such as a typo are made without a note.
Right of reply for operators
Operators named on this site can ask us to re-check a status or add their response. Please write from an address on the casino’s own domain, name the licence holder and licence number, and include the evidence: for example, a working website with a seal that validates on the regulator’s register. We will re-test, update the page if the evidence supports it, and tell you the outcome. A short factual reply can be added to the page if the status stands.
How we earn money
The alternatives page includes links to a small number of casinos that passed our checks, and we may be paid when readers sign up through them. No other page carries paid links. Payment does not buy a place on that page, and it never removes a brand from our avoid list or changes a status. If a casino on the alternatives page later fails a check, it is removed.
